大林寺桃花

人间四月芳菲尽，山寺桃花始盛开。
长恨春归无觅处，不知转入此中来。

【按】作者有《游大林寺序》，记述与同行者十七人游庐山，宿大林寺。其时为四月初九，而山高地深，尚如正月、二月天，梨桃始花，涧草犹短，风候与平地不同，恍然若别造一世界，因作此诗。

The Miss of transient Spingtime

人间四月芳菲尽，
As the fairest spring goes by , all beautiful flowers come to fade again in May.

山寺桃花始盛开。
Surprised that peach trees are just in bloosom in Talin temple among the mountains.

长恨春归无觅处，
Human always regrets for the fraigle spring which are too precious for us to keep.

不知转入此中来。
Who else can wonder that we could reunite this natural phenomenent here by chance.
